Rotary Amherst supports our local Project Winter Emergency Temporary Shelter

Rotary gave $1000 to support our local Project Winter Emergency Temporary Shelter (WETS) Task Force

It purchased sleeping bags and other supplies during Fiona and will help keep people warm this winter.

It is very important to understand homelessness and to reserve judgment of others. We need compassion and understanding to address stigma in our community. Included here are helpful links that will inform homelessness and stigma conversations, It is a good starting point for what is already being done locally and across Canada.
